Because Gabe Newell creates all of Valve's Steam from Fatty Burritos...
*FARTS LOUDLY*
This article is lousy. The numbers are fabricated and based purely on speculation. RROD is likely still around, and I'm as big a proponent of holding MS feet to the fire over it. Yet this is ridiculous. The author goes on to say his figures are probably an underestimation, when they are likely an OVERestimation instead.
Where is all the whiners for HHG when they are finally needed?
that the PS3 version of FFXIII will outsell the 360 version worldwide.
...Bobby and Whitney have a PS3 and not a 360?
...will arrive soon, eh. The 360 is getting phased out. You know? That is possible.
At $99 it will be cheaper than the wireless adaptor.
Boy that picture makes hims look like a total putz...without the article!
Gooder games should be available for the bestest consoles...!
How is this in anyway fanboy banter? I think it describes a parity between the two systems.
...fanboys without lives.
BUBBLES.
Unless a writer learns to use paragraphs, I don't care to hear their criticisms from another blogger.
and you begin to see the author's point. I don't agree with it totally though, but I can see their point. A franchise is an exclusive, but better than a third part system. That is why I think Sony has the upper hand, and the games are what truly matter.
Microsoft has to rely on 3rd parties like Valve to have exclusives, when these third parties have no obligation to do so. That isn't to say that the 360 doesn't have a fair amount of 'franchises', but they are not at a Sony le...
When the both games being judged are Xbox exclusive. Is there a fanboy for everything now?
ALL OF YOU FAIL HARD
And the writer of the article gives you every reason not to believe him, true. But you ire and hate over the Hiphopgamer is so lame, especially when it is over this. Just little ol' this.
FAIL HARD
@solidt12
It was too old for many gamers to consider, including myself. It should do much better this go round.
Timed exclusives are a failed experiment.
Twisted Metal Black just has a foreboding look to it. It is scarier than some survival horror games.
I agree R* has magnificent cover art for all its games, but Vice City is better than GTA IV - it really captures the 80's feel for me.
The rest of the list seems thrown together. Most of the titles seem to be selected by popularity.
No Oddworld's Munch's Oddysee and don't forget the PS2 Ratchet and Clank. Those were some cool covers, and I like Heavenly Sword's cover as much as the recent Tomb Raider.
I'll try and pick up Heavenly Sword in a couple of pay periods.
I've been looking for Uncharted, but I'll settle for Heavenly Sword.
I was adult by the time Mortal Kombat was controvesial, but I remember being 15 and thinking 'Hey I can't buy hip-hop anymore thanks to this c**t Tipper Gore'.
Luckily that never stopped retail stores from selling me any NWA albums.
I wish Killzone2 had co-op.
Co-op on Gears FTW.
But management science has yet to find any connection between job satisfaction and job performance.
Happy programmers can still make lousy games, but I doubt Insomniac has high turnover, allowing them to keep highly qualified folks too.
I hate to admit I have a man-crush on Ted Price. Smart, good-looking dude. We should hang out and pick up chicks and the arcade with Cliff Blezinski or something.
Plus he gives his employees free muffins everyday. Got to like that!
I can't tell if there is a qualitative difference between consoles or between this and the KZ engine. I just know the PS3 version seems to have more lighting. Who can tell from just a couple of pictures? Let the games tell us, not demos.
